Desert Fathers Wisdom - the "Moosage" version

Wilderness wisdom from Zion & beyond - Moose version }:- We all too often abandon the "light" burden of self-criticism unto humility, and take up the "heavy" burden of self-justification. The person whose reputation is greater than his work will soon enough be found out, woe to him. Many believe they have "arrived" somewhere. Yet, they have never got in the boat or put oar to water. Much learning & education yields head knowledge, but the Christian life (discipleship to Christ) must be lived into in order to receive it's wisdom. Yep, time to lose our lives in order to find them again in Christ, and we need each other to do it.
